Prepare the Way Land Services
Estimates & Scope of Work
All estimates are based on the visible conditions of the property and the agreed scope of work at the time of quoting. If additional work is required due to unforeseen conditions such as hidden debris, excessive vegetation, buried materials, concrete, metal, trash, or other obstacles, the scope and price may be adjusted with customer approval before continuing.
Deposits
To reserve a service date, a deposit is required.
• Jobs under $500 require a $50 deposit
• Jobs over $500 require a 40% deposit
Deposits are applied toward the total cost of the project.
Payments
The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods may include cash, card, or digital payment platforms.
Late Payments
Invoices not paid upon completion may be subject to a late fee of 5% of the remaining balance or $25 (whichever is greater) after 7 days. Continued nonpayment may result in collections or additional recovery costs.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied toward a rescheduled appointment with at least 24 hours notice. Missed appointments or last-minute cancellations may require a new deposit to schedule future service.
Property Access
Customers must ensure the work area is accessible at the scheduled time. This includes unlocking gates, removing vehicles or obstacles, and providing safe access to the work site. If access is unavailable upon arrival, additional trip or scheduling fees may apply.
Hidden Debris & Unknown Conditions
Land clearing and debris removal work may expose hidden materials such as buried trash, construction debris, concrete, metal, fencing, roots, or other obstacles not visible during the estimate. Removal of such materials may require additional labor, equipment, or disposal costs and may result in price adjustments.
Disposal & Dump Fees
Debris removed from the property will be hauled away and disposed of according to local regulations. Dump fees, landfill fees, or disposal costs may be included in the estimate or added if debris volume exceeds the originally estimated amount.
Safety & Working Conditions
Work may be delayed, modified, or rescheduled if conditions are unsafe, including severe weather, unstable terrain, hidden hazards, or unmarked underground utilities.
Property Damage Disclaimer
Prepare the Way Land Services will exercise reasonable care while performing services. However, we are not responsible for damage to underground utilities, irrigation systems, septic components, cables, pipes, or other structures that were not clearly marked or disclosed prior to work beginning.
Photo & Marketing Permission
Customer grants Prepare the Way Land Services permission to take before and after photos of the project area for documentation, marketing, and promotional purposes. Photos will not include identifiable personal information unless permission is granted.
Weather Delays
Outdoor work may be delayed due to unsafe weather conditions. Customers will be notified as soon as possible to reschedule service.
Right to Refuse Service
Prepare the Way Land Services reserves the right to refuse or stop work if conditions become unsafe, hazardous, or outside the agreed scope of work.
Acceptance of Terms
Approval of an estimate, payment of a deposit, or scheduling of services constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
